Dr. Yanga’s Basic Education Library Showers Public Elementary and High Schools in Bocaue
In April 13, 2015, the Basic Education Library donated its relegated 1,085 volumes of High School and 705 volumes of elementary books to Mr. Rolando S. Cruz, DepEd District Supervisor in Bocaue who was represented by Ms. Lualhati V. Gabriel, Principal I of Batia Elementary School (3rd in row from left) and the former District Supervisor and Faculty in College of Education, Prof. Imelda Cajusay (4th in row). The turn-over of books was witnessed by our beloved Basic Education Principal, Ms. Anna Lisa Tabuzo (2ndin row); Director of the Office of External Affairs, Prof. Harold Trinidad; and the Chief Librarian, Ms. Charo Galang.
This book shower, an outreach activity of DYCI Libraries since 2011, aims to promote reading among Public School pupils and students by giving them access to different reading materials which the District Supervisor will make possible by distributing those books to schools under his jurisdiction.
