Story-telling and Book Shower at Brgy. Turo Elementary School
The Office of External Affairs (OEA) in cooperation with DYCI Library and Quezon City Public library conducted a story-telling activity to Grade-1 pupils last December 11, 2012. They also showered the Brgy. Elementary School Library with books which the pupils could read. The activity is in conjunction with the 78th Celebration of National Week Book with the theme Libraries Effect to Society.
Book shower and distribution of snacks followed after the story-telling question and answer session by Ms. Julieta Mactal, Director, OEA; Josefina Ortega, DYCI Faculty, Ana Ejurango, Library Technician; and Ms. Ana, BSU-Library Science On-the-job Trainees). The program ended with program evaluation and distribution of certificates of participation and the event was documented by Mr. Mark Anthony Bulaon, Technical Services Librarian.
